Immaterial is an immersive podcast from The Metropolitan Museum of Art that “examines the materials of art and what they can reveal about history and humanity.” Each episode focuses on a different material and representative artwork from the museum’s collection, which are then used to unpack stories from the ancient past are connected with contemporary struggles.

Korman co-led series development and worked with all seventeen research departments at the museum to design and launch the series, which The Met continues to produce and now considers its marquee audio project.

Immaterial is co-produced with Magnificent Noise.
